Our client is a well established consumer goods brand based in the UAE, looking to hire an Ecommerce Marketplace Manager to handle their presence across marketplaces - particularly on Amazon. This a sales driven position also requires leading a team.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with both Amazon, as well as webstore management, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and sales are maximized.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Amazon stores, including uploading products, updating prices, and managing inventory
You'll need to ensure that all product listings are optimized for search, using SEO-friendly descriptions and high-quality images to attract customers
You will also monitor competitor pricing and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain competitiveness in the market
Handling order processing, tracking, and providing customer support will also be a significant part of your responsibilities, ensuring that issues are addressed in a timely manner and that customers have a positive experience
Your work will involve analyzing sales data, monitoring traffic, and conversion rates to improve store performance and identify growth opportunities
Additionally, you’ll work closely with suppliers to manage stock levels, preventing overselling while identifying opportunities for promotions and new product additions
A strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, particularly Amazon Seller and third-party listing tools, is crucial
Familiarity with order fulfillment methods such as dropshipping and wholesale inventory management will be advantageous
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business/Marketing/Supply Chain, etc
5 to 7 years of experience in marketing strategy and hands-on execution, with experience driving strategies and sales growth on Amazon
Strong knowledge of both brand building and e-commerce fundamentals, with an understanding of how media fits into the broader strategy for driving page visits and conversions
Ability to take pressure and ownership of your portfolio
Experience working in a role that balanced brand strategy and eCommerce skills, previous roles in media buying or brand strategy at eCommerce-focused agencies, or from personally having built and grown your own small or medium sized brand on Amazon
Comfort with ambiguity and building and designing new brand management and marketing processes to scale as we grow the business and the company
Results-driven and ability to think outside of the box for continuous improvements
Has a track record of exceeding sales targets and assigned goals successfully
