The Client:

Our client is a leading regional FMCG player headquartered in Dubai.

The Role:

As the E-Commerce Channel Manager, you will play a key role in developing and executing the client's online sales strategy, managing key e-commerce platforms, and driving customer engagement. This role is pivotal in optimizing the e-commerce channel's performance and ensuring seamless customer experiences to support the brand's ambitious growth plans. The key responsibilities would revolve around:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
  • Manage relationships with key online retailers and marketplaces, ensuring strong brand visibility and sales performance.
  • Optimize product listings, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to enhance conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor e-commerce performance metrics, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, supply chain, and sales) to align e-commerce initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Oversee the execution of digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic and improve customer acquisition and retention.
  • Manage the product assortment and inventory levels to ensure availability and minimize stockouts.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements to maintain a competitive edge.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven track record of at least 5+ years in e-commerce management within the FMCG sector in the Middle East.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing strategies, and online sales dynamics.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data insights into strategic actions.
  • Experience in managing relationships with key online marketplaces and retailers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly competitive environment.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms, tools, and performance tracking systems.
