E and I QC Engineer

Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for E and I QC Engineer to join a top qualified and knowledgeable quality controls team in one of our projects in Fujairah, UAE. What you will need to do:

1. Assist in the preparation of quality documentation, including the Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and in the review of construction documents for compliance with project quality requirements related to E&I works.
2. Monitor all phases and processes required for the effective completion of all related E&I / Telecom works and in particular issues of design, procurement, construction, and final handover of the related E&I works.
3. Monitor the implementation of Method Statements, Inspection & Test Plans related to E&I works, and ensure all necessary records are generated in a timely manner in their area of assigned responsibility.
4. Manage the inspection and testing of E&I works in their area of assigned responsibilities, including monitoring the work of QC Inspectors under their authority.
5. Monitor the closeout of punch lists established for incomplete related to E&I works.

What you will need to have:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering
2. 10 years of related experience (ADNOC experience will be an advantage)
3. Well versed in the inspection and certification of E & I equipment covering High and Low voltage configurations, shall be familiar with inspection criteria as per international codes and standards.
4. Knowledgeable and hands-on in the preparation, review, and approval of ITP, Procedures, and method statements.
