Job Title: Driver & Purchase Coordinator

Location: Business Central Towers, office 1807B

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Driver & Purchase Coordinator to join our team. This role combines driving responsibilities with purchasing coordination, inventory management, and materials/tools management. The ideal candidate will ensure timely delivery of goods, manage procurement processes, and maintain accurate inventory records to support our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving Duties:
    • Safely transport staff and goods to various locations as required.
    • Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the company vehicle.
    • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
    • Ensure timely delivery and pickup of materials and documents.
  • Purchasing Coordination:
    • Source and purchase materials, tools, and supplies required for the company.
    • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
    • Maintain records of all purchases and manage purchase orders.
    • Coordinate with the finance department for timely payment of suppliers.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are accurate and adequate.
    • Maintain organized records of inventory movements and stock levels.
    • Identify and report discrepancies or shortages in inventory.
    • Implement efficient inventory control systems and procedures.
  • Materials & Tools Management:
    • Ensure all materials and tools are properly stored and maintained.
    • Track and monitor the usage and condition of tools and equipment.
    • Coordinate the repair or replacement of damaged tools and equipment.
    • Maintain detailed records of materials and tools issued to staff.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics, procurement, or related fields is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a driver with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in purchasing, inventory management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
  • Professional attitude and strong attention to detail.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid drivers license.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular business hours if necessary.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
