Job Title: Driver & Purchase Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Driver & Purchase Coordinator to join our team. This role combines driving responsibilities with purchasing coordination, inventory management, and materials/tools management. The ideal candidate will ensure timely delivery of goods, manage procurement processes, and maintain accurate inventory records to support our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving Duties:
- Safely transport staff and goods to various locations as required.
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the company vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure timely delivery and pickup of materials and documents.
- Purchasing Coordination:
- Source and purchase materials, tools, and supplies required for the company.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
- Maintain records of all purchases and manage purchase orders.
- Coordinate with the finance department for timely payment of suppliers.
- Inventory Management:
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are accurate and adequate.
- Maintain organized records of inventory movements and stock levels.
- Identify and report discrepancies or shortages in inventory.
- Implement efficient inventory control systems and procedures.
- Materials & Tools Management:
- Ensure all materials and tools are properly stored and maintained.
- Track and monitor the usage and condition of tools and equipment.
- Coordinate the repair or replacement of damaged tools and equipment.
- Maintain detailed records of materials and tools issued to staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics, procurement, or related fields is a plus.
- Proven experience as a driver with a clean driving record.
- Experience in purchasing, inventory management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
- Professional attitude and strong attention to detail.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid drivers license.
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours if necessary.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
