Role & Responsibilities of a Driver in UAE

Role:

The Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of passengers, employees, or goods while ensuring compliance with UAE traffic laws and company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Safe Transportation – Drive passengers, employees, or goods to designated locations while following traffic laws.
• Route Planning – Plan and optimize routes to avoid traffic and ensure timely arrivals.
• Vehicle Maintenance – Regularly inspect and maintain vehicle cleanliness, servicing, and report any issues.
• Compliance & Safety – Adhere to company driving policies, road safety regulations, and ensure a secure journey.
• Assistance with Goods – Help with loading and unloading if required.
• Incident Reporting – Inform management about any accidents, vehicle breakdowns, or maintenance needs.
• Trip Logging – Maintain a record of mileage, fuel consumption, and trip details.
• Flexibility – Be available for work during weekends, holidays, or overtime if required.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Driving Skills & Safety Awareness – Proficiency in handling different vehicle types and adhering to UAE traffic laws.
• Navigation & Route Planning – Strong knowledge of UAE roads, GPS systems, and alternate routes to avoid traffic.
• Vehicle Maintenance Knowledge – Basic understanding of vehicle servicing, troubleshooting, and upkeep.
• Communication Skills – Basic English for instructions, with Arabic as a plus for better coordination.
• Adaptability & Flexibility – Willingness to work odd hours, weekends, or holidays if required.
