Drilling Supervisor

Responsibilities

1. Plan, coordinate, and oversee drilling operations to ensure safe and efficient well construction.
2. Manage drilling crew and contractors to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
3. Monitor drilling parameters and make real-time decisions to optimize drilling performance.
4. Participate in well planning and design processes, including casing design and bit selection.
5. Conduct regular inspections of drilling equipment to ensure proper maintenance and functionality.
6. Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental protocols on the drilling rig.
7. Prepare drilling reports and documentation for management and regulatory agencies.
8. Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
9. Collaborate with geologists, engineers, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
10. Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements to improve drilling operations.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
2. Minimum 5 years of experience working in drilling operations
3. Strong knowledge of drilling techniques, tools, and equipment
4. Previous experience supervising drilling crews or teams
5. Valid certifications in well control and drilling safety procedures
