DRILLING ENGINEER

Job Description

As a company representative at the wellsite, your responsibilities include:

1. Supervising rig operations and reporting to the ADOC office Engineer, while participating in the resource planning process.
2. Designing operational procedures and managing logistics with the Contractor.
3. Supporting the offshore Supervisor, preparing, and planning the work programme of offshore drilling at the Rig and at the office as Office Engineer.
4. Supervising drilling, completion, and workover (inclusive of ESP replacement) operations.
5. Preparing and planning work programs as Office Engineer, developing rig operation programs for all wells, including diving operations for rig moves.
6. Coordinating activities with other Units within the Department and related sections.
7. Possessing strong knowledge and experience in rig operations and the application of new drilling technologies.
8. Demonstrating excellent understanding of engineering principles and mechanics.
