Drilling Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise rig operations as a company representative at the wellsite, reporting to the ADOC office Engineer and participating in the resource planning process.
2. Design the operation procedure and manage logistics with the Contractor.
3. Support the offshore Supervisor in preparing and planning the work programme for offshore drilling at the Rig and at the office as an Office Engineer.
4. Supervise drilling completion workover operations, including ESP replacement.
5. Prepare and plan work programs as an Office Engineer, developing rig operation programs for all wells, including diving operations for rig moves.
6. Coordinate activities with other Units within the Department and other related sections.
7. Utilize strong knowledge and experience in rig operations and the application of new drilling technology.
8. Demonstrate an excellent understanding of engineering principles and mechanics.
