Draughtsman

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Draughtsman, you will play a crucial role in creating precise technical drawings and plans for various engineering and architectural projects. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, and designs using CAD software.
• Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and calculations to create accurate drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to understand project requirements.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications.
• Revise and update existing drawings as needed.
• Maintain organized digital and physical files of all project-related drawings and documents.
• Assist in creating 3D models and renderings for project visualization.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute innovative ideas for design improvements.
• Conduct research on materials, products, and construction methods to enhance drawing accuracy.
• Support the quality control process by reviewing and verifying drawings for accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Draughtsman.
• Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Strong technical drawing skills and ability to read and interpret technical specifications.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Efficient time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications in CAD software (preferred).
• Adaptability to learn new software and technologies as required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
