Draftsman (Joinery & Fitout)

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman with a minimum of 2 years of experience in joinery and fitout projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for joinery and fitout works, collaborating with the design and production teams to ensure that all designs are accurate, functional, and meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop detailed technical drawings and plans for joinery and fitout projects, including cabinetry, furniture, and interior structures.
2. Work closely with architects, designers, and engineers to ensure designs align with client specifications and project requirements.
3. Interpret design concepts and translate them into detailed, precise drawings.
4. Review and refine drawings to ensure they meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
5. Coordinate with production teams to ensure the feasibility of designs and resolve any design issues that arise.
6. Assist in material selection, cost estimation, and preparation of bills of quantities.
7. Manage and maintain up-to-date project documentation.
8. Attend site visits and collaborate with the project team to resolve on-site issues related to joinery and fitout works.
9. Ensure all work is completed within budget and on schedule.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a draftsman in joinery and fitout projects.
2. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant design software.
3. Strong understanding of joinery and fitout principles, materials, and construction processes.
4. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
5. Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
8. A relevant degree or diploma in Drafting, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.

Desirable Skills:

1. Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software.
2. Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and regulations.
3. Experience in both commercial and residential fitout projects.
