The Draftsman is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, plans, and schematics for engineering and construction projects. This role requires expertise in CAD software to transform design concepts into precise drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards. The Draftsman collaborates closely with engineers, architects, and project teams to support project execution.

Job Purpose:

The Draftsman is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, plans, and schematics for engineering and construction projects. This role requires expertise in CAD software to transform design concepts into precise drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards. The Draftsman collaborates closely with engineers, architects, and project teams to support project execution.

Key Job Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed technical drawings and layouts using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
2. Interpret and translate design concepts, sketches, and verbal instructions into technical drawings.
3. Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and codes.
4. Collaborate with engineers and architects to resolve design-related issues.
5. Update and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects, and project teams.
6. Maintain organized documentation of all drawings and revisions for easy reference.
7. Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with project goals.
8. Provide technical support to the project team during the design and construction phases.
9. Assist in preparing as-built drawings at the project completion stage.

Qualifications:

Education Qualification, Work Experience & Skills:

1. Diploma or certification in Drafting, CAD, or a related field.

Experience:

1. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Draftsman, preferably in engineering or construction projects [Civil and MEP].

Skills:

1. Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD and Revit.
2. Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and engineering concepts.
3. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
4. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
5. Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing project requirements.

1. Accuracy: Achieve a 100% accuracy rate in technical drawings, as verified by engineers and architects.
2. Compliance: Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards and project specifications.
3. Timeliness: Complete and deliver drawings within agreed-upon deadlines for 95% of projects.
4. Revisions: Implement feedback and complete drawing revisions within 24 hours of receipt.
5. Collaboration: Maintain positive feedback from engineers and architects on communication and support.
