Draftsman

Key Responsibilities:

1. Structural Drafting and Detailing:

   • Prepare detailed drawings and structural layouts for highrise construction projects using AutoCAD Revit or similar design software.
   • Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes, industry standards, and project requirements.
   • Develop plans, sections, elevations, and detailed shop drawings for structural components such as beams, columns, slabs, and foundations.

2. Collaboration and Coordination:

   • Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand design intent and project specifications.
   • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to incorporate structural details into comprehensive project plans.
   • Update and revise drawings as necessary based on team feedback and site conditions.

3. Documentation and Quality Assurance:

   • Maintain accurate and organized project records, including revisions and drawing logs.
   • Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure precision and compliance with technical requirements.

4. Site Support:

   • Assist in resolving onsite discrepancies by providing updated drawings and clarifications.
   • Participate in site visits if necessary to understand construction challenges and validate designs.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 5 years of structural drafting experience in highrise construction.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Advanced skills in AutoCAD Revit and other structural drafting tools.
  • Familiarity with BIM software is a plus.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of structural engineering concepts and highrise construction methodologies.
