Draftsman

The draftsman is responsible for creating technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. They will work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to translate design concepts into detailed drawings. The draftsman will also make revisions to drawings based on feedback and ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

1. Create detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software.
2. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to interpret design concepts.
3. Incorporate any design changes or modifications into drawings.
4. Ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and compliant with industry standards.
5. Prepare multiple versions of drawings for review and approval.
6. Collaborate with other draftsmen and project stakeholders to resolve design issues.
7. Maintain drawing files and documentation for easy retrieval.
8. Stay up to date with CAD software advancements and industry best practices.

Minimum Requirements

1. Degree or diploma in drafting or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a draftsman, preferably in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry.
3. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings.
5. Good communication and teamwork skills.
