THE ROLE

Reporting to the Document Control Manager responsible for document registration, issue control, transmittal, and distribution. Enforce and implement document control procedures in compliance with the project and client’s standards.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The project is a diverse portfolio of projects that contribute to Abu Dhabi's growth. This includes developing service networks for newly developed land and community facilities such as schools, mosques, parks, etc. KBR will provide Project Management Consultancy services in project planning, controls, design and engineering management, and implementation of the development and early works packages.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Control drawings, specifications, design records, standards, procedures, correspondence, minutes of meetings and supplier documents, etc.
  • Document registration, issue control, copying, distribution and transmittal.
  • Ability to generate, maintain, and regularly provide an update on documentation statuses and reports.
  • Co-ordination and support of Consultants and Contractors document controllers.
  • Effectively communicate documentation issues within the project team, the Consultants, and the Contractors in a clear and timely manner.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Minimum overall relevant experience 5 years.
  • Minimum relevant experience 3 years in the role.
  • Experienced user of internet-based document control systems e.g. Asite.
  • Experienced user of MS Office.
  • Previous experience in the Middle East is an advantage.
  • Fluent English both written and spoken, Arabic an advantage.
