Job Description

Role Overview: Suitable candidates for this position will have a strong suite of consulting, performance improvement, financial restructuring, and hands-on experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead business restructuring, turnaround and performance improvement projects for clients across various industries.
2. Develop and implement effective strategies to address financial and operational challenges.
3. Preparation of robust financial and cash flow projections; preparation of relevant company analysis for clients or management.
4. Application of various financial skills in a wide variety of client and industry environments; financial modelling, company analysis, preparation/assessment of business plans and due diligence.
5. Support negotiations with creditors, investors, and other stakeholders during turnaround processes.
6. Significant client interaction at senior levels, building and maintaining strong relations with clients.
7. Lead management presentation and new business presentations.
8. Exceptional communication abilities along with an ability to provide detailed but clear analysis and presentations when required including new client pitches.
9. Oversee and develop project deliverables, ensuring quality and timeliness.

Requirements:

1. A degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Engineering and/or MBA.
2. Experience gained, preferably with a mix of consulting/advisory and industry experience gained in Big 4, boutique advisory house or a strategy house at Manager level.
3. Strong experience in Financial Restructuring, Performance Improvement and Value Creation and Operational Restructuring/Transformation, or either of these.
4. Leading delivering transformation, turnaround and/or restructuring programs across multiple markets and industries.
5. Ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders as part of a wider transformation/Restructuring office setup.
6. Demonstrable experience of developing business plans, financial projections, and identifying/implementing restructuring solutions.
7. Experience of working with clients and/or advisory firms and supporting the identification and implementation of levers to improve performance. Including but not limited to - cost reduction, organization health & redesign, supply chain & procurement, growth strategies and market analysis, cash and working capital management and optimization, manufacturing optimization, PMI and carve-outs, process mapping and redesign and strategic business planning.
8. Deep understanding of business issues and the ability to communicate them effectively to team leaders and clients.
9. Willingness to build professional and personal growth by working in high-impact situations under time-pressure.
10. Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills along with strong financial literacy and modelling skills.
11. Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and executive-level presentation skills.
12. Fluency in English is essential. Arabic is a plus.
