Job Summary:

Local bank based in Abu Dhabi looking to bring on board a Director of Talent Acquisition to lead the bank's efforts in attracting, recruiting, and retaining top talent. This role is critical in shaping the bank's workforce and ensuring we have the best talent to achieve the businesses strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in TA, a deep understanding of the financial services industry, and proven leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership:

    Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the bank's business goals. Drive innovative recruitment initiatives to attract top talent across all levels of the organization. Collaborate with senior management to understand workforce needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.

  2. Talent Acquisition:

    Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to candidate onboarding. Utilize a variety of sourcing methods including social media, job boards, networking, and recruitment events. Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

  3. Team Management:

    Lead and mentor a team of talent acquisition specialists. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team. Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance the team's capabilities.

  4. Employer Branding:

    Promote [Bank Name] as an employer of choice through targeted employer branding initiatives. Develop and execute strategies to enhance the bank's presence and reputation in the job market. Build relationships with universities, professional organizations, and other key stakeholders.

  5. Metrics and Reporting:

    Track and analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies. Prepare regular reports for senior management on recruitment activities, challenges, and successes. Utilize data to drive continuous improvement in the recruitment process.

  6. Compliance and Best Practices:

    Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition. Implement and maintain recruitment policies and procedures that uphold the bank's standards and values.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • UAE National applicants only please
  • 8 years minimum TA experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in banking sector
  • Leadership experience
  • Government experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Bachelor's degree minimum qualification
