Director of Sales, HVAC & Industrial

Lead sales for K&N’s exciting new market opportunity within HVAC and Industrial markets. We have strong initial demand for our products and are looking for a sales leader to develop and build-out a strong sales team to drive our sales and profitability within these markets.

Responsibilities:

• Grow Sales & Profits for HVAC & Industrial Markets
• General Business Manager mindset – goal oriented with ownership of the customer relationship and revenue stream.
• Quickly connect and develop working relationships with customers while being strongly company-centric, utilizing both technical and soft sales abilities.
• Actively seek out new in-profile revenue opportunities within the marketplace.
• Manage all aspects of account management, including revenue development and forecasting, daily communication, project lead, project resource, and product mix analysis.
• Understand business principles of Revenue, Profit and Loss, including managing promotional budgets, calculating and evaluating ROI, and assessing promotional effectiveness.
• Demonstrate detailed data analytics aptitude with a hands-on approach and intensive communication.
• Discover, identify, and communicate expanded business opportunities within existing customer settings.
• Craft and present quarterly business reviews to clients outlining results vs. plan, marketing plan implementation, and revised revenue forecasts.
• Internally coordinate with Product Development and Marketing to support the rollout of new product lines, processes, and opportunities for the customer and K&N.
• Comprehend changing macro-economic environments and their relevance to the potential migration of business - channel shift.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.

Experience, Skills & Education:

• 4 years bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years of sales experience within the HVAC and/or Industrial Channel.

Additional Qualities Necessary:

• Travel time of 33% or greater is required.
