To be actively involved in the preparation of the Marketing Plan as requested by the Director of Sales.
To actively participate in achieving the hotel’s budgets, especially the rooms’ budget.
To be responsible for achieving the departmental targets of self and all subordinate team members.
To generate and maintain major accounts and assigned segments through various sales activities (face-to-face sales calls, telephone calls, entertainment, sight inspections).
To ensure thorough and complete coverage of the sales team for comprehensive client servicing, achieving targets, and maximum productivity.
To set up all sales objectives, action plans, and team targets under the guidance of the Director of Sales.
To closely monitor account revenue and business production from the corporate market and run monthly review meetings with the Revenue Manager and Senior Sales Managers.
To ensure that selling strategies are adhered to during negotiations and maximize upselling opportunities for the sales team.
To review direct competition and ensure complete awareness by all sales team members of competitors’ activities at all times.
To review and analyze market and competition changes and implement proactive action plans to meet these changes in cooperation with the Director of Sales.
To establish and maintain files of major accounts and assist the Director of Sales in maintaining the accounts management system.
