Job Summary
As Director of Sales, you are responsible for working closely with the Senior Management Team to drive business needs and expand existing business through promotional efforts and sales channels. A Director of Sales will work to develop the sales group and groom a high-performing sales team. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Positioning Ajman hotel in the luxury market.
- Personally build clear and open lines of communication with all departments.
- Understand UAE's business trend in terms of targeting right market.
- Build a team with different opinions, skills, experiences, and backgrounds; leverage personal, cultural, and functional differences to optimize team performance.
- Manage the Team with positivity and ensure great teamwork and a happy and fun environment for the team with regular coaching.
- Develop strong strategic relationship with the GM and ensure regular communication on plans and actions being driven to the sales team.
- Drive activity to Dubai with our contracted DMC’s and arrange regular visits and entertainment.
- Actively involved and work with Finance department in tour operator contracting.
- Organize tour operator visit to Ajman Hotel to showcase the resort on regular interval.
- Create an environment that trains, develops, coaches and mentors colleagues.
- Be innovative with everything you do.
- Attend Road Shows ITB, ATM, WTM Belarus, Russia, UK, Berlin and Belarus.
- Actively participate in sales presentations, property tours and customer meetings.
- Respond to all internal email from various functions i.e. reservation, rooms, F&B.
- Involve in finalization of any big event query i.e. wedding, birthday party, gala dinner etc.
- Work closely with reservation team to give support from Sales point of view.
- Undertake additional duties as requested by the superior and substantial admin work related to contracting and email/phone communication with contracted accounts and Reservations which is inextricably linked.
Requirements:

- Ability to lead, motivate and develop team members.
- Be innovative, financially savvy, provide instinctive service and be inspirational.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
- 2 years degree in Management Field.
- 5 - 10 years of similar role experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Experienced in UAE, Northern Emirates.
