Director of Retail Operations (Luxury Retail)

Director of Retail Operations for a luxury retail business. In this role, you will lead the Retail & Sales Operations. We are looking for someone with deep experience and knowledge of the luxury world, who is excited to build and implement key processes that will scale with the brand over the next several years. Serving as a leader for the Operations Team, the Director, Retail Operations provides day-to-day onsite leadership training and supervision for the Store Director Team. This position strategically leads and manages store operations in all areas ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction and delight, as well as team member job performance and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard Sales Targets to meet and exceed standard KPI’s.
• Monitor and evaluate financial performance and overall profitability by exceeding strategic growth objectives.
• Lead, coach, and mentor team members.
• Manage and execute operational standards to align with organizational expectations.
• Conduct and lead business reviews – audit and maintain operational standards.
• Host and maintain departmental meetings, training, and business updates to adhere to company standards and/or changes within the business to meet and/or exceed results.
• Drive operational standards and efficiency of merchandising, sales, product, and marketing.
• Partner with recruiting to meet hiring demands, transfers, promotions, to improve staffing levels.
• Partner with Human Resources with recommendations of pay adjustments, corrective actions, and employment decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, preferred.
• Related Field – Store Operations or equivalent work experience supporting, required.
• Understanding of incentive and commission-based environment.
• Effective and efficient time management, organizational skills, attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to change to meet demands of the business.
