Job description

The purpose of this job is to manage the operations including:

  1. Plant Department
  2. Safety Department
  3. Planning Department
  4. Operations Department
  5. Procurement Department

Responsibilities

  1. Manage the various aspects of ongoing projects through coordination with "Operations Managers" and "Project Managers".
  2. Conduct meeting with "Operations Managers" and "Project Managers" regarding operation disruption and review reports from each department.
  3. Visit sites regularly to supervise the work progress and provide necessary assistance.
  4. Review relations and such related aspects with consultants and owners.
  5. Review the coverage, terms and conditions of the Sub-contractor agreement.
  6. Participate in negotiation and agreement finalization of Sub-contractors.
  7. Provide support for initiatives that aim to enhance the overall control and performance of the projects.
  8. Align operations action plan with the company strategic plan to ensure that the strategic plans are translated into an actionable and executable plan.
  9. Review and approve the following:
    1. Material Requisition
    2. Local Purchase Order
    3. Sub-contractor Payments and approve the billing from different suppliers for cheque preparation.
  10. Ensure that the cheque is correct before submitted to "Chief Executive Officer" for signature and verify expenses for each project and edit business correspondence before signing.
  11. Follow up legal aspects relating to the projects.
  12. Coordinate with "Plant Manager" in the selection of machinery and equipment and approving the requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Engineering degree, preferred with administration management diploma.

Experience: 10 - 15 years experience in Executive level.

  • Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Superior verbal and written command of English language.
  • Able to control and manage budgets and schedules.
