Position Overview

The Director of M&A will be responsible for developing offer presentations to potential partner practices and medical groups, performing due diligence and development analysis, and conducting post-partnership analysis.

Day to Day Responsibilities

1. Data collection, financial analysis, and deal structuring for potential acquisitions
2. Financial, value, and risk analysis of deals
3. Underwriting key value levers into acquisitions and tracking out of the gates analysis post partnership
4. Construct presentations to communicate progress to executive leadership and PE partners
5. Support Chief Growth Officer with BD metrics and ROI analysis based on deal flow
6. Monitor KPIs to ensure benchmarks are being met
7. Evaluate M&A process and implement improvements
8. Evaluate attractiveness of investment opportunities via financial analysis
9. Evaluate targets and assess growth potential, value, and integration structure
10. Assist in negotiations for each partnership and construct presentations for sellers
11. Finalize and prepare offers
12. LOI development and ELT recommendations
13. Sign off on financial analyses and risk profiles
14. Respond quickly to seller requests
15. Manage financial due diligence and integrations processes
16. Quality of Earnings, go-forward compensation projections, and other modeling
17. Finalize closing deliverables with PE firm and lending partners by providing funding documents and covenant material

Required Qualifications

1. 5+ years within management consulting, corporate strategy, private equity, or investment banking
2. 5+ years financial underwriting
3. Experience leading M&A process
4. Seller presentation experience
5. Strong financial modeling skills
6. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related Business field

Preferred Qualifications

1. Multi-site healthcare industry experience
2. Advanced degree
