The Director of M&A will be responsible for developing offer presentations to potential partner practices and medical groups, performing due diligence and development analysis, and conducting post-partnership analysis.
Day to Day Responsibilities
Data collection, financial analysis, and deal structuring for potential acquisitions
Financial, value, and risk analysis of deals
Underwriting key value levers into acquisitions and tracking out of the gates analysis post partnership
Construct presentations to communicate progress to executive leadership and PE partners
Support Chief Growth Officer with BD metrics and ROI analysis based on deal flow
Monitor KPIs to ensure benchmarks are being met
Evaluate M&A process and implement improvements
Evaluate attractiveness of investment opportunities via financial analysis
Evaluate targets and assess growth potential, value, and integration structure
Assist in negotiations for each partnership and construct presentations for sellers
Finalize and prepare offers
LOI development and ELT recommendations
Sign off on financial analyses and risk profiles
Respond quickly to seller requests
Manage financial due diligence and integrations processes
Quality of Earnings, go-forward compensation projections, and other modeling
Finalize closing deliverables with PE firm and lending partners by providing funding documents and covenant material
Required Qualifications
5+ years within management consulting, corporate strategy, private equity, or investment banking
5+ years financial underwriting
Experience leading M&A process
Seller presentation experience
Strong financial modeling skills
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related Business field
