Job Summary: The Director of HR Business Partners (HRBP) will lead the HRBP function, ensuring seamless alignment between HR strategy and business objectives. This role is pivotal in driving strategic HR initiatives, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and ensuring the successful implementation of HR excellence projects. The Director of HRBP will act as a key advisor to senior leadership, providing strategic guidance on workforce planning, organizational development, and change management to support the company's long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic HR Partnership:
    • Lead the HRBP team in partnering with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that align with organizational objectives.
    • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on business and HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
    • Collaborate with leaders to design and implement organizational strategies that drive business performance and employee engagement.
  2. Organizational Development & Change Management:
    • Guide and support business leaders through organizational changes, ensuring effective change management practices are applied.
    • Lead initiatives to assess and enhance organizational structures, ensuring they support business growth and agility.
    • Provide insights and recommendations on organizational development strategies to optimize performance and drive continuous improvement.
  3. HR Excellence Projects:
    • Drive the execution of HR excellence projects, including the development and implementation of best practices, frameworks, and tools that enhance HR effectiveness across the organization.
    • Lead initiatives focused on improving HR processes, systems, and programs to achieve operational excellence.
    • Monitor and evaluate the impact of HR excellence initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and business needs.
  4. Data-Driven HR Insights:
    • Utilize data analytics to provide actionable insights to senior leadership on workforce trends, organizational health, and HR effectiveness.
    • Develop and implement HR metrics and dashboards to track progress on key HR initiatives and provide regular updates to business leaders.
    • Leverage data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement across HR practices.
  5. Stakeholder Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, ensuring HR initiatives are aligned with business needs and priorities.
    • Act as a liaison between the HR department and business units, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
    • Represent the HR function in cross-functional leadership meetings, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the company.

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent work experience required
  • Solid track record as an HR leader, with a strong focus on HR business partnering, strategy, and organizational development
  • Experience in supporting diverse employee populations with varying sizes
  • Proven experience in leading and developing HRBP teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive HR excellence initiatives and lead complex change management projects.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in utilizing HR data to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • HR certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CIPD) or Masters in HR is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Retail (Fashion, Sports Lifestyle, Luxury, Consumer etc), FMCG, Hospitality, Leisure industry are preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrated success in driving large-scale HR projects and initiatives.
  • Experience in a global or multinational environment would be preferred but not essential.
