Role Overview

The Director of Fundraising will lead all capital raising initiatives and investor relations, playing a crucial role in securing the company's financial future. This position reports directly to the Founder & CEO and will be instrumental in the company’s growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies for seed and Series A rounds within a given timeframe.
2. Build and maintain relationships with angel investors, venture capital firms, and other potential investors.
3. Create compelling pitch decks and investor presentations.
4. Lead due diligence processes.
5. Structure and negotiate investment terms.
6. Establish investor relations protocols and communications.
7. Collaborate with the leadership team on financial modeling and business planning.
8. Secure a minimum of 915 strategic partnerships in the first year post-funding.
9. Generate partnership-driven revenue or value equivalent to set targets.
10. Establish a partnership evaluation and management framework.
11. Create a scalable partnership program structure.
12. Monitor the fundraising landscape and identify strategic opportunities.

Required Qualifications

1. 6 years of experience in startup fundraising, venture capital, or investment banking.
2. Proven track record of successfully closing investment rounds.
3. Strong network within the investment community.
4. Excellence in financial modeling and valuation.
5. Outstanding presentation and negotiation skills.
6. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.

Compensation Structure

1. Initial Phase: No base salary during fundraising period.
2. Post-Funding: Competitive base salary commensurate with experience.
3. Significant equity package.
4. Performance bonuses tied to fundraising & partnership milestones.

Success Metrics

1. Successfully secure initial funding round within agreed timeframe.
2. Develop a robust pipeline of qualified investors.
3. Establish effective investor relations infrastructure.
4. Meet or exceed fundraising targets.
