Key Responsibilities:
Attract, lead and retain talent (engineering managers and engineers).
Provide technology solutions to support business/product engineering teams in solving complex scenarios.
Work closely with product, design, and data counterparts to shape the product vision and strategy for your product.
Maintain close connections with technology peers from different Tribes and ensure support in cross-Tribe initiatives.
Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability across the group.
Ensure Domains and their respective teams follow best practices to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.
What you need to be successful:
Ability to manage multiple domains/teams and complex scopes.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
Deep understanding of engineering principles and practices (DDD, TDD, Pair/Mob Programming, CI/CD, Continuous Refactoring, etc.).
Deep understanding of highly-effective SDLC and team practices.
Strong experience in building distributed and high scale systems.
Ability to find and hire the best talent.
Ability to lead with compassion and grow other leaders.
Ability to build relationships and enable continuous feedback channels for stakeholders from different departments.
