About the Role
As a Director of Child Care Center, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the Child Care Center at the University of Sharjah. This involves overseeing all aspects of the center's activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing a high-quality learning environment for children. The Director is responsible for creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere for children, families, and staff while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Job Requirements
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to prepare professional documents, in both Arabic and English.
Excellent working knowledge of personal computer applications with an emphasis on MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Teams.
Advanced knowledge of early childhood education principles, theories, and practices.
Proficiency in educational technology and software used in early childhood education.
Fully aware of relevant regulations and licensing requirements for nursery schools.
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a relevant discipline.
A Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching or Early Childhood Education would add an advantage.
First aid and CPR certification would add an advantage.
Above 15 Years of UAE experience in leadership and teaching positions, preferably in higher education institutions.
