Marketing Director - FMCG
Job Description:

- The Marketing Director will play a critical role in driving the regional brand agenda, leading strategic campaigns, and managing cross-functional initiatives to build strong, lasting connections with consumers across the Middle East.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Brand Strategy:
- Define and execute the marketing strategy across key Middle Eastern markets, aligning global priorities with regional and local consumer needs.
Consumer Insights & Market Understanding:
- Use data-driven insights and market intelligence to shape campaigns that drive relevance and brand affinity among diverse consumer groups.
Brand & Portfolio Management:
- Lead the development and expansion of a dynamic FMCG portfolio, driving brand equity and category growth across multiple product lines.
Integrated Marketing Execution:
- Own end-to-end campaign development across digital, ATL, BTL, and in-store channels to deliver high-impact, locally resonant messaging.
Innovation Pipeline:
- Collaborate with product development, R&D, and commercial teams to bring region-specific innovations to life, from ideation to market launch.
Cross-Functional Partnership:
- Work closely with sales, trade marketing, and supply chain to ensure smooth execution of marketing plans and effective go-to-market strategies.
Team Leadership & Capability Building:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a regional marketing team to foster innovation, agility, and excellence.
Budget & KPI Ownership:
- Manage marketing budgets with a focus on ROI, while delivering against KPIs including brand health, sales growth, and campaign effectiveness.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis:
- Monitor consumer trends, competitor activities, and category developments to ensure strategic agility and sustained brand leadership.
Skills and Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive experience in FMCG marketing, with proven expertise in brand management, innovation, and campaign execution.
- Regional experience in the Middle East is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior and retail formats, ideally across emerging and developed markets.
- Demonstrated ability to translate insights into strategy and strategy into action.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders across different functions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- MBA in Marketing or a related field is strongly preferred.
