Director- Escrow Product Management - Abu Dhabi

JOB PURPOSE:

The Director for Escrow Product is responsible for leading the strategic vision development and management of our escrow product offerings. This role aims to ensure the delivery of innovative secure and efficient escrow solutions that meet market demands and regulatory requirements. The Director will drive product excellence by collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing market trends, and prioritizing customer needs to enhance the overall product portfolio and achieve business growth.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle from ideation to launch of the product.
2. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality escrow products that meet customer needs and regulatory standards.
3. Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
4. Use insights to inform product development and positioning.
5. Work closely with sales, marketing, technology, and operations teams to ensure cohesive product development and implementation.
6. Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve product offerings.
8. Ensure exceptional customer experience and satisfaction with escrow products.
9. Track and report on key product performance metrics.
10. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize product success.
11. Align product development with business goals.
12. Develop business requirements as the basis for Technical Development Operations, payments processing, and other cross-functional departments to build systems, procedures, and materials to support product development and ongoing product enhancements.
13. Handle the product rollout regionally and globally for all escrow propositions.
14. Handle all risk assessment activities and reports.
15. Responsible for maintaining the regulatory and legal compliance requirements of all escrow products.
16. Attend client meetings along with CM Advisory/Coverage RMs and analyze project revenue details.
17. Reassess the FTP benefits from GT and arrive at the applicable interest payable to the Developers on a frequency agreed with the respective Developers.
18. Update the standard Tariff structure of Escrow Management from time to time.
19. Liaise with the respective regulators for any clarification/additional information regarding Escrow laws/Regulations for the smooth conduct of Escrow business.
20. Vetting of commercial escrow agreements with internal/external lawyers, opening of commercial escrow accounts, checking the payment requests for compliance with the escrow agreement terms, liaising with the payment team for payments, closure of accounts, etc.
21. Close liaison with staff from GTB Advisory, Client Services, Payment Centre, Channel Support, Branch network, Relationship Managers, IT Desk, Operations, and other relevant stakeholders in the implementation process.
22. Participate in the review of client agreements, service standards, and service quality to ensure that we meet and exceed the expectations of our clients.

Qualifications:

Knowledge:

1. Excellent understanding of ESCROW proposition, escrow laws, local and international regulations and practices.
2. Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies in escrow services.
3. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the escrow industry.
4. Ability to navigate complex legal and regulatory landscapes.
5. Sound knowledge of Corporate and other cash management products and operations.
6. Strong grasp of financial principles including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
7. Ability to manage financial aspects of product development and ensure profitability.
8. Excellent customer service skills. Skills to enhance product offerings based on customer insights and preferences.
9. Language proficient: Fluent (business) English; Arabic is preferable.

Experience:

At least 7 years experience in Escrow Services in product.

Good understanding of local and international GTB products, international cash management practices, and digital platform operations.
