About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Director – Creative and Entertainment at Dubai Parks and Resorts. We are seeking a visionary and innovative Director to develop, lead and deliver all entertainments, live shows and events within the assigned theme Parks (Motiongate Dubai, Real Madrid World, Riverland Park and more) by being creative leader of entertainment (both in-house and externally sourced) and by maintaining global liaison/relationships with important industry players, IP holders, entertainments suppliers and other related entities to make this a world class attraction. The role holder will report to the General Manager – Theme Parks.

Lead the development of entertainment and event strategy, formulating budgets and adhering to them.

• Manage and control the implementation and operating planes of the entertainment strategy defined.
• Contribute to revenue and profitability objectives through the entertainment offerings, in the line with the business strategy.
• Lead the development creative designs, content / experiences creation and the sourcing of relevant ground-breaking entertainment and events, presenting unique and exciting entertainment, activities or Special Seasons to maximize visitor flow thereby increasing customer satisfaction and increase/ maximize the revenue potential.
• Manage and lead the Entertainment Technical requirements.
• Work closely with external entities and partners to identify new market opportunities and constructing robust and successful business proposals to secure new events and entertainment contracts and long-term client relationships that results in cost effective solution to support revenue generation.
• Coordination of all department to manage contractors and all aspects of developing, executing, and managing strategies, standards to deliver high quality of service to customers ensuring compliance to operations and safety and security standards. 
• Work closely with the marketing team to present compelling and exciting media stories to project the park to the external world to attract maximum visitors.
• Set production and performance standards by coordinating with other department such a facilities management, operations and HSE to ensure compliance to all relevant quality management policies, procedure, standards, and controls to guarantee compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services.
• Understand and actively participate in environmental, health & safety compliance.       
• Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management team.

About you: 

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Entertainment and Event strategy development and execution in the line with the business strategy.
• Ability to perform predictive and prescriptive analytics and contribute to revenue and profitability objectives through the entertainment offerings, in the line with the business strategy.
• Expertise in team management along with Entertainment suppliers, IP holders, Venue designers and builders
• Strong skills to analyze and identifying trends, patterns, and insights to maximize visitor flow thereby increasing customer satisfaction and increase/ maximize the revenue potential.
• University degree in a relevant field from a recognised business school or university
• Ideally holding a master’s degree or MBA from a related subject (Theatre).
• Minimum 10 - 15 years of relevant experience working for theme park industry.
• Experience in Entertainment and Attractions is preferred.
