We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Corporate Finance to lead the Corporate Finance division for a leading financial consulting firm headquartered in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in corporate restructuring, buy-side and sell-side advisory, fundraising, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and capital markets. This individual will play a pivotal role in sourcing and executing deals, managing client relationships, and driving the growth of the division.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy:
- Lead and manage the Corporate Finance division, setting strategic goals and ensuring the achievement of financial and operational targets.
- Develop and implement business strategies to grow the firm’s market presence in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Deal Sourcing & Execution:
- Identify, evaluate, and source potential deals across corporate restructuring, M&A, fundraising, and other advisory services.
- Lead the execution of transactions, including due diligence, valuation, negotiations, and structuring.
- Oversee the preparation of pitch books, financial models, and other transaction-related documentation.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored advisory services.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through complex financial decisions and transactions.
Team Management:
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of finance professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture, encouraging continuous learning and professional development.
Market Intelligence & Networking:
- Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and economic developments in the MENA region.
- Attend industry conferences, network with key stakeholders, and represent the firm in public forums to enhance its brand and reputation.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or related fields, with a proven track record in deal sourcing and execution.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation is highly preferred.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Deep understanding of corporate finance principles, transaction structuring, and valuation techniques.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in managing teams and complex projects.
Language: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
