The Program Director for Digital Transformation programs assumes a pivotal role at the relationship of technological strategy and client relations. Entrusted with steering the direction of comprehensive digital transformation programs the successful candidate will operate as the principal liaison with our esteemed client and will coordinate with crossfunctional teams to deliver on complex project milestones.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Serve as the principal point of contact for our clients orchestrating the provision of digital transformation programs as aligned with clients strategic requirements.
Oversee the implementation of highly customized digital transformation programs with a focus on a proper scope and change management practices.
Lead multidisciplinary / cross functional teams comprised of project management professionals engineers software developers ensuring the highimpact outcomes.
Exercise financial control over the program budget optimizing resource allocation without compromising on deliverable quality.
Own the program EVM and report the program commercial parameters to the senior management.
Define and execute a comprehensive communication and stakeholder management at the program level and supervise the implementation on the projects level.
Supervise the risk management practices in the programs projects while planning and executing a proactive risk management on the program level.
Supervise the procurement process within the whole program and take the necessary decisions to ensure selecting the right partners while maintaining the costefficiency.
Conduct rigorous performance reviews in close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to assess project progress identify potential roadblocks and recalibrate strategies as necessary
Navigate the intricate compliance and governance pertinent to both customers and environment.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent; Masters degree preferred
A minimum of 15 years of experience with no less than 8 years in program management
Proven expertise in preparing and conducting Clevel presentations and discussions
Experience in a management consulting firm is preferable
Mandatory fluency in English and preferably Arabic as well
A demonstrable history of digital transformation experience in the Gulf region is crucial; familiarity with the United Arab Emirates landscape and government entities is highly advantageous.
A thorough understanding of the product development processes and practices
A concrete understanding of emerging digital technologies and risk mitigation strategies.
Certification in Project Management methodologies such as Agile Scrum or Lean is requisite PMP certification preferred
Exhaustive experience in program/ project management tools like: Microsoft project JIRA Asana etc.
Wise financial judgement with a proven track record of optimizing program budgets and resource allocation
