We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Transformation Lead to drive the adoption, integration, and innovation of digital solutions within our Architecture and Masterplanning practice. This role requires a visionary professional with expertise in the latest digital tools, including cutting-edge AI technologies, to align technology with business objectives, enhance project delivery, and deliver superior client outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement a digital transformation strategy for the Architecture and Masterplanning practice.
Drive innovation by identifying and integrating emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, BIM, parametric design, and digital twin solutions.
Research and implement state-of-the-art AI tools for generative design, predictive analytics, and automated workflows.
Collaborate with global teams to align digital strategies across AECOM’s regions and disciplines.
Technology Implementation and Management:
Lead the adoption of advanced digital tools for design, visualization, data management, and decision-making.
Leverage AI-driven tools to optimize workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance computational design capabilities.
Oversee the development and use of digital platforms, ensuring seamless collaboration and productivity.
Stakeholder Engagement and Training:
Act as a digital evangelist, promoting digital literacy and fostering a culture of continuous innovation.
Partner with clients to understand their digital needs, showcasing how AI and other technologies add value.
Develop and deliver workshops to upskill teams in AI applications, computational tools, and digital workflows.
Operational Excellence:
Ensure project outcomes leverage the latest AI-powered and digital solutions while maintaining design integrity and efficiency.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of digital and AI-driven initiatives, adjusting strategies to maximize ROI.
Integrate digital methodologies to support sustainability goals, including energy modeling and net-zero design.
Desired candidate profile
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Urban Design, or a related field.
Experience: 10+ years of professional experience, with significant exposure to digital transformation in the built environment.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in tools such as Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, Navisworks, and BIM platforms. Strong knowledge of AI tools, such as MidJourney, DALL.E, ChatGPT, Autodesk Forma, and machine learning frameworks.
Hands-on experience with computational design, scripting languages (e.g., Python, Dynamo), and data analytics platforms. Proven track record of managing and delivering complex projects leveraging advanced digital and AI technologies.
