We are looking for a Digital and Social Media Specialist to join the Marketing team of the Trading division of Mazrui International.

Work Location - Dubai, UAE

Brief about company: Mazrui International is a diversified holding group with businesses across multiple industries. This role will focus on Trading Sector that comprises of below 4 major diversified business entities:

Entities:

  1. Mazrui International - Main Holding Group
  2. SIGMA Enterprises - Trading of Industrial and Engineering Products
  3. MetroMed - Distribution of Pharma products and Medical Devices
  4. MetroVet - Distribution of Veterinary products
  5. Seven Oaks International - Distribution of FMCG products
  6. Transafe - Transportation and Logistics of Cryogenic/Dangerous Gases

The Digital & Social Media Specialist's primary focus will be to perform market research and gather data to support the development of brand strategies for the Trading sector's full product range. In addition to everyday tasks, this role is diverse in nature and will assist the Marketing Team in media planning & buying, creative development, copywriting, and digital marketing initiatives. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to create and analyze reports as well as review and report on trends in the marketplace relative to advertising and brand awareness. Ultimately, the incumbent's objective is to promote our company and increase customer engagement.

Job Responsibilities

Website:

  • Establish our web presence to boost company and brand awareness.
  • Ability to run and improve SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
  • Maintain our website updated by coordinating with the relevant team including brief and follow up with IT and 3rd party company.

Social Media:

  • Manage all social media platform presence (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.) for the Trading sector (MMD, MMV, SOI, SIGMA, and TRANSAFE): Post, boost, and update.
  • Partner to develop and execute strategic plans and promotions to grow followers and increase engagement within social channels.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital media developments.
  • Identify, research, and recommend innovative social opportunities concentrating on trends and cutting-edge innovation.
  • Actively research current trends related to market and competition, including analyzing current digital marketing tactics, concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Create & manage a social scorecard to present results to the broader organization.
  • Lead regular meetings with PM to get the publication plan for the next month.
  • Create and manage our influencer community.

Google Ads:

  • Coordinate paid ads campaigns: Work with PM to get the content, publish, follow up, and create a report with an analysis to evaluate the success of the campaign with the ROI in coordination with the PM.

CRM:

  • Coordinate Email marketing campaigns including: Launch, follow up, and create reports with analysis and action plans.

Finance and Budget:

  • Track all credit card expenses related to social media activities and share monthly reports with finance regarding all expenditures.
  • Forecast yearly/quarterly budget requests for each company to build our presence on social media.

Customers:

  • Answer all online comments on our social media and digital platforms with the support of the PM if needed.

Events:

  • Ensure to cover all our events on Social Media with the support of the PM.

Others:

  • Create a monthly report on digital and social media activities, which must be shared with analysis and feedback for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is an added plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in social community management required.
  • Solid knowledge of Photoshop or other media editing software.
  • Familiarity with web design and content management systems.
  • Creative mindset.
  • Strong organizational skills.
