DevSecOps Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Implement security best practices in the development and deployment processes.
2. Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery of applications.
3. Conduct security assessments and penetration testing on applications and infrastructure.
4. Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security controls throughout the software development lifecycle.
5. Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities in real-time.
6. Automate security controls and compliance checks in infrastructure as code.
7. Create and maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures.
8. Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends, threats, and best practices.
9. Provide training and guidance to team members on secure coding practices and security tools.
10. Participate in risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating security risks.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Strong background in both development and security practices.
3. Certification in relevant areas such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP).
4. Proficiency with DevOps tools and practices, including automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
