This is your role

As a DevOps Engineer at TradeTracker.com, you will play a pivotal role in the maintaining and enhancing of our performance marketing platform. We are passionate about technology and in our development we follow a cloud-native approach, leveraging AWS services, whilst using tools from the Atlassian product suite, and GitLab for our development and deployment processes. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by designing and implementing solutions that drive the success of our platform.

Salary: AED 10,000 to 11,000 / month

Location: Dubai

Your profile

Required Skillset:

1. AWS: Deep understanding of the AWS ecosystem and Cloud Architect certification as an AWS Cloud Architect is essential to guide our cloud-native strategy effectively.
2. Gitlab CI/CD: Proficiency in GitLab CI/CD pipelines is a key requirement for streamlining our development and deployment workflows.
3. Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform and general IaC principles and tools.
4. Quality and Test Tooling: Strong knowledge of test automation and quality tooling to ensure the reliability and quality of our software.
5. Moderate understanding of PHP: Advanced knowledge is preferred.
6. Kubernetes: Expertise in container orchestration with Kubernetes for scalable and resilient microservices.
7. Observability Tooling: Familiarity with observability tools and practices to monitor, analyze, and optimize our platform's performance.
8. Database Configuration and Management: Proficiency in configuring and managing databases is crucial for data reliability and performance.

2. Blue/Green deployments: Proficiency in blue/green deployments, availability zones and networking to ensure zero-downtime releases, and minimizing deployment risks.
3. Elasticsearch: Experience with Elasticsearch is a plus, as it plays a vital role in our data retrieval, APIs, search functionalities and features.
4. Trunk Based Development: Your experience with trunk-based development will contribute to a streamlined and efficient development process.
5. Feature Flag Handling: Expertise in feature flagging will enable controlled feature releases and better testing strategies.
