DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Experienced Azure DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Our DevOps are responsible for ensuring the global availability of our analytics application and services. We place a high degree of trust and responsibility in the hands of our DevOps.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software system requirements and objectives.
2. Design, develop, and maintain software applications infrastructures, focusing on scalability, reliability, automation, and performance.
3. Develop, implement, and maintain DevOps practices, including continuous integration, deployment, and automated testing.
4. Provide technical support to Operations or other development teams.
5. Manage software configuration, deployment, and release processes.
6. Monitor and optimize cloud costs.
7. Monitor and maintain applications security profile.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve incidents within agreed timescales.
9. Ensure high availability and scalability of cloud infrastructure and applications.
10. Own the Azure DevOps infrastructure and implement improvements.

Candidate Profile / Key Skills:

1. 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps practices and Cloud.
2. A minimum bachelor's degree in IT or any relevant bachelor's degree.
3. Knowledge/experience of Azure Cloud Technologies (AKS, ACR, Azure Functions, Azure Web App, etc.).
4. Good knowledge of IaC and related technologies such as Terraform.
5. Proficiency with Version Control Tools and CI/CD Tools (Git, GitLab) and related concepts such as branching/versioning strategies.
6. Hands-on experience in developing CI/CD workflows/pipelines.
7. Docker, containerization, and related orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes.
8. Develop and maintain infrastructure automation scripts using PowerShell and Python.
9. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance using system monitoring tools and best practices for infrastructure health.
10. Implement and maintain cloud security and networking practices to safeguard infrastructure and applications.
11. Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and Grafana is essential.
12. Positive about learning new skills and technologies.

14. Ability to work in a highly agile, Sprint-based team environment.
