Job Title: Development Manager Software Department
Role Objective: Software Development Manager will lead development teams overseeing software projects and driving innovation to deliver high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Leading the development team in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of applications.
- Managing all the activities of the software development team and setting goals for each team member to ensure timely project delivery.
- Defining project scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Providing guidance to the team and ensuring they adhere to development standards.
- Ensuring adherence to software development methodologies and best practices.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather project requirements.
- Managing software development budgets and expenses.
- Conducting performance evaluations and career development discussions.
- Identifying training and skill development needs for the team.
Key Business Interactions: Internal, External, Projects, Department, R&D, Development, Sales Department, HR Dept., Clients
Key Performance Indicators (KPI): Project delivery, Team productivity & team development, Customer satisfaction, Budget and cost control, Innovation and process improvement.
Competencies and Skills: Experience in developing, deploying, and integrating software solutions, Business process reengineering, Communication Skills, Good mentoring & coaching skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor Degree (15 years)
- Postgraduate degree (Shall be defined by HR Dept.)
- Professional Certification (Certification from ADMCC, Nedap, Milestone preferred)
