Our client is a leading UAE Real Estate Developer based in Abu Dhabi keen to add a Development Manager to their expanding real estate team. The business is primarily focused on the development of properties across residential towers and master planned communities, commercial and hospitality valued from AED 300m to 3bn+.

The Development Manager will be responsible for leading multiple projects working with all internal teams and stakeholders, overseeing schedules, budgets, design, approvals, development, construction, and closeout including handover, assisting team members throughout these processes. The successful applicant will utilize company operating procedures to meet business objectives, development strategy, and all local government regulations.

1. Project Management: Oversee all aspects of the development process, including planning, feasibility studies, design, development, construction, and handover on completion.
2. Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources with the Project Manager & Director to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
3. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential development opportunities and determine the feasibility of proposed projects. Stay up-to-date on market trends.
4. Team Management: Lead a team of professionals, including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants, to ensure successful project delivery. Provide guidance and support as required to team members and encourage a collaborative and efficient working environment.
5. Budget and Financial Management: Develop project budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure projects stay within budget. Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
6. Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, such as investors and community members, to keep them informed about project progress and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
7. Quality Control: Ensure that all projects meet high-quality standards and comply with local regulations and building codes.
8. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them. Proactively address any issues that may impact project timelines or budgets.
9. Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. Communicate project updates, challenges, and successes effectively and in a timely manner.
10. Other duties as assigned.

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate, or similar related field.
2. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in real estate development, with a focus on residential, commercial, and hospitality projects in the UAE.
3. Strong understanding of the local real estate market and regulations.
4. Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering real estate projects on time and within budget.
5. Excellent development and project management, leadership, and team management skills from pre-concept to completion skills.
6. Strong financial and budget management understanding for full-cycle development projects.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
