Cognita ENRICH ME in Dubai is seeking a skilled Development Coach to train squad swimmers, refine techniques, and enhance race skills. The role involves coaching school swim squads, engaging with parents and staff, and managing planning and admin to support athlete growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Coaching and Training:
• Deliver high-quality coaching to squad swimmers, focusing on technical skills, race strategies and overall progressions.
• Work closely with school swim squads to ensure individual and group needs are met, helping swimmers progress within the development pathway.
• Foster a positive and motivating training environment, supporting swimmers' long-term growth and success.
• Communication and Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong, effective relationships with swimmers, parents, and school staff, ensuring open and transparent communication.
• Keep parents and school staff informed of swimmers' progress, goals, and achievements.
• Act as a point of contact for queries regarding swimmers’ development, competition schedules and training progress.
• Collaboration and Programme Development:
• Work in close collaboration with Site Leaders to develop and enhance the swimming programmes at each location.
• Ensure that swimmers are being developed in line with Cognita EnrichME Aquatics standards and long-term development goals.
• Collaborate with the Director of Aquatics and Head of Development to maintain consistency across all training and development initiatives within the programme.
• Competitions and Events:
• Attend and support swimmers at regular and appropriate level competitions as outlined in the Aquatics Calendar, by the Director of Aquatics.
• Provide guidance and coaching during competitions, ensuring swimmers are mentally, tactically and physically prepared to perform at their best.
• Support schools in operating the events for a positive student experience.
• Administration and Planning:
• Maintain accurate records of swimmers' progress, training schedules, registers, training data, test results and competition results.
• Manage training sessions, swimmer attendance and overall scheduling, ensuring a well-organised and efficient development site.
• Assist in developing and implementing training plans for swimmers at different stages of their development.
• Attend regular coaches, PE and staff meetings as needed.

The position will be a full-time, 2-year renewable contract. The total package will include a competitive salary, residency visa, medical insurance and flight allowance.
