Salary: Tax-free, £31,000 per annum (dependent on exchange rate) / AED 144,000 per annum

Hamilton Aquatics Swimming and Training is seeking a dedicated Development Coach to join our dynamic coaching team in Dubai. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping young swimmers into competitive athletes while fostering a love for the sport. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering and planning high-quality coaching sessions for our Development Squads, nurturing talent, and promoting the values that define our success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coaching and Development:
   • Deliver and plan sessions for Foundation, Development, and Potential Squads, as directed by the Head of Development.
   • Deliver technique-focused, skill-enhancing sessions aligned with the Hamilton Aquatics philosophy.
   • Track swimmer attendance, set individual targets, and ensure training evolves to meet their progress.
   • Promote participation in competitions, advise on event selection, and attend competitions locally and overseas as needed.
   • Recruit swimmers into the squads and talent-identify athletes from our Learn to Swim program to ensure consistently full squads and high-quality swimmers moving through the programme.
2. Communication and Teamwork:
   • Maintain proactive communication with swimmers, parents, and staff.
   • Handle inquiries and complaints professionally and escalate where necessary.
   • Report to the Head of Development daily, attend weekly coach meetings, and lead area meetings with documentation.
3. Quality Assurance and Safety:
   • Adhere to all child protection policies, and Hamilton Aquatics' code of conduct, and ensure health and safety protocols.
   • Manage site responsibilities, including pool safety checks and first aid, as necessary.
4. Administration Duties:
   • Complete necessary administration, including booking and competition entries.
   • Ensure swimmer attendance and progression records are up-to-date.
   • Support the Head of Development with new recruit inductions.
5. Additional Duties:
   • Communicate effectively with participants, and focus on customer satisfaction.
   • Represent Hamilton Aquatics professionally at competitions, galas, and other required events.
   • Organise and deliver clinics with your local schools in an effort to build relationships and raise the level of swimming in your area.
   • Lead school training sessions and assist schools in your area at inter-school competitions.
