Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer

Duration: 3 years contract

Salary: 8K AED per month

Please find below the Job description:

Experience/Knowledge:

1. At least 4 years of experience in setting up the IT helpdesk along with technical support based on ITIL best practices guidelines.
2. Excellent technical knowledge of PCs and desktop hardware.
3. Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards.
4. Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories (DOT Matrix, Network, MFP, and ID Card Printers).
5. Software and Hardware Troubleshooting.
6. Able to operate effectively in a team environment with both technical and non-technical team members.
7. Able to operate with minimal supervision.
8. Able to manage time effectively, set priorities appropriately, and schedule calls.
9. Able to maintain professional demeanor under stress.
10. Able to operate within customer standard operating procedures.
11. Working knowledge of Manage Engine Tools Set.
12. Microsoft Windows 2008/2012 Terminal Server.
13. Knowledge of asset discovery tools e.g. Lansweeper, Altiris, SCCM.
14. Ability to operate and support Blackberry and iPad.
15. Windows XP, Windows 7/8, Windows 2000/2003/2008 experience.
16. AD, Exchange 2007/2010/2013 experience.
17. Good communication (both verbal and written) skills.

Qualification & Certifications:

1. Microsoft Certification, ideally MCP or MCSE.
2. ITIL V3 Certification.
3. BTEC Computer Science.
4. A+ and N+ experience (Desirable).
