Desktop Engineer

Kazamer Tax Consultant is seeking a skilled and proactive Desktop Engineer to join our IT team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and ensure the smooth operation of desktops, laptops, and other workplace IT systems for enhanced productivity across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level support for desktop, laptop, and printer issues.

• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.

• Manage user accounts, email configurations, and system backups.

• Maintain asset inventory and documentation of IT equipment.

• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and warranty claims.

• Ensure endpoint security and software compliance across all systems.

• Assist in IT infrastructure upgrades and deployment of new equipment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in desktop support or a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and remote support tools.

• Familiarity with networking concepts, antivirus, and data backup solutions.

• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Certifications like CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCP, or similar are a plus.
