Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified 2D & 3D Designer with a strong understanding of the technicalities of fitout design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed design concepts for a wide range of fitout projects, ensuring the technical feasibility of their designs while aligning with the client’s vision. This role requires proficiency in design software, an eye for detail, and a clear understanding of the fitout industry’s requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop 2D and 3D design concepts for doors, kitchens, wardrobes, exhibition stands, kiosks, and other fitout projects.
2. Work closely with project managers and clients to understand design requirements and technical specifications.
3. Create detailed drawings and models, ensuring they are technically accurate and align with the client's needs and budget.
4. Provide design solutions that are practical, cost-effective, and suitable for installation.
5. Review and modify designs based on feedback and ensure they meet the required specifications and standards.
6. Produce high-quality renderings and presentations to communicate design ideas to clients and stakeholders.
7. Prepare technical drawings and documents for production and installation teams.
8. Prepare the bill of quantities and material lists for pricing and projects fabrication.
9. Stay up to date with the latest design trends, software tools, and fitout industry standards.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Designer specializing in 2D and 3D designs, particularly in the fitout, interior design, or construction industries.
2. Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
3. In-depth knowledge of fitout technicalities, including material selection, installation processes, and project requirements.
4. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to translate ideas into clear, accurate designs.
5. Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients, vendors, and project teams.
6. Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
7. A portfolio showcasing previous 2D and 3D design work, particularly in fitout or related industries.
8. Bachelor’s degree in Design, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
