Design Manager

We are seeking an experienced Design Manager specializing in either hospitality or residential projects to oversee the design process for large-scale, high-profile developments. The ideal candidate will bring creative leadership, technical expertise, and a results-driven approach to deliver exceptional design solutions that align with project goals, client requirements, and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the design process from concept to completion for hospitality or residential projects, ensuring alignment with client vision and project objectives.
2. Develop and implement project-specific design strategies that deliver innovative and functional solutions.
3. Lead internal and external teams to ensure seamless coordination and integration of design elements.

Design Management:

1. Evaluate and approve design concepts, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure quality and feasibility.
2. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables for all design phases, balancing creativity with practicality.
3. Facilitate design reviews, workshops, and presentations to clients, consultants, and project teams.

Stakeholder Coordination:

1. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to address design challenges and ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
2. Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with building codes and standards.
3. Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing feedback and providing updates on design progress.

Quality Assurance:

1. Ensure high standards of design quality, reflecting current market trends and innovation.
2. Stay updated on emerging design technologies, materials, and sustainability practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in design management, with a portfolio specializing in either hospitality or residential projects.
3. Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams on complex, large-scale projects.
4. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), 3ds Max, V-Ray, and other visualization tools.
