Position Overview:

Manage the Interior Fit Out Design function of the project. Coordinate with consultant, construction team and subcontractors for design activities to ensure the adherence to project schedule

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, Organize and Manage the team for the completion of project as per schedule.
  • Develop and establish a comprehensive schedule of all planned drawing submittals based on the project schedule.
  • Review and ensure the detailed drawing schedule from subcontractor is in compliance with project drawing schedule.
  • Review the technical queries/clarifications from the subcontractor, provide clarification and raise the relevant queries/clarifications to client through RFI, CR or in meetings / discussions. Review the clarification from the consultant for completeness of clarification/Query and transmit the clarification to all subcontractors affecting the clarification.
  • Review subcontractor’s drawings for Accuracy, Quality and incorporation of relevant information.
  • Review the coordinated drawings for accuracy and incorporation of details of all interfacing subcontractors.
  • Manage the Shop drawings and As built drawings programs - Coordinate with team, Management, subcontractors, and Consultants - to ensure the Work Progress is as per schedule.
  • Review the shop drawing progress, analyze the resource adequacy/requirement for achieving the schedule, implement corrective actions for any variations from the plan and verify the effectiveness of the corrective actions.
  • Provide technical solutions for all the issues related to design in coordination with subcontractors, Project team and consultants.
  • Provide accurate progress updates to the planning department weekly and monthly.
  • Present weekly progress status, next week plans, potential issues affecting the progress of drawing submittals to the management and discuss/decide and implement the corrective actions.
  • Develop drawings for various temporary facilities, logistics related designs as per the project requirement. Discuss with the project team and develop As built drawings for these facilities.
  • Prepare/organize drawings for Authority’s approval as per the project requirement.
  • Provide necessary inputs to commercial department for various claims.
  • Lead, motivate, Train, and develop design team.

Requirements:

  • Architecture Degree level
  • 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in Fit Out company
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
  • Expertise on material specifications related to fit out and FF&E items
