Design Manager

The Design Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the design process across various projects, ensuring that all design aspects align with Arada’s vision, quality standards, and development objectives. This role requires strong leadership, coordination, and technical expertise to deliver innovative and sustainable designs that enhance the built environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design process from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Oversee internal and external design teams, including consultants, architects, and engineers, to ensure seamless collaboration and execution of design intent.
• Develop and implement design strategies that align with Arada’s brand identity and development standards.
• Ensure all design proposals comply with local regulations, codes, and sustainability guidelines.
• Review and approve architectural and engineering drawings, ensuring design excellence and feasibility.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including project managers, marketing teams, and contractors, to optimize design efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to drive innovation and quality improvements.
• Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and emerging technologies to integrate best practices into Arada’s projects.
• Manage project documentation, design schedules, and risk assessments to maintain high standards of project delivery.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence within the team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in design management within the real estate or as a Design Consultant.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, building codes, and sustainable design practices.
• Experience working with international design firms and consultants is a plus.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant tools.
• Excellent leadership and project management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
