Design Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Design Process: Oversee and manage the design process for all Interior FitOut projects ensuring designs align with client requirements project goals timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with clients consultants and project teams to refine and implement design concepts that meet both functional and aesthetic needs.
• Innovative & Sustainable Design: Champion the integration of innovative sustainable and cuttingedge design practices in all projects to enhance quality efficiency and environmental responsibility.
• Team Leadership: Lead mentor and inspire a dynamic design team fostering a collaborative creative and highperformance environment.
• Client Engagement: Serve as the primary design point of contact for clients ensuring their vision is accurately represented and executed throughout the design and implementation stages.
• Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of design quality ensuring deliverables meet project specifications and comply with local regulations industry standards and best practices.
• Budget & Resource Management: Collaborate with project managers to ensure designrelated deliverables are achieved within budget and on schedule optimizing resource allocation and costefficiency.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends emerging materials and cuttingedge technologies introducing innovative design solutions to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Requirements:

• Experience: A minimum of 810 years of experience in Interior FitOut design with a strong portfolio of successfully completed projects in commercial residential and/or hospitality sectors.
• Educational Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Architecture Civil Engineering or a related field. A Masters degree is an advantage.
• Leadership: Proven experience in leading and managing design teams with a demonstrated ability to handle complex largescale projects.
• Design Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD Revit SketchUp and other relevant tools alongside a solid understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Client Relations: Expertise in presenting and articulating design concepts to clients with excellent communication skills to foster strong client relationships.
• ProblemSolving: Strong problemsolving abilities with an eye for detail and the ability to balance creative vision with practical project execution and commercial objectives.
• Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership communication and interpersonal skills to manage crossfunctional teams and client relationships.
• Sustainability Expertise: Indepth knowledge of sustainability principles and the ability to integrate them into design solutions.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential.
• UAE Market Experience: Previous experience working in the UAE market is mandatory.
• Driving License: A valid UAE driving license is a plus.
