Job description

Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to the team.
Ensure the design aligns with client requirements and is in compliance with current UAE legislation, industry standards, and specifications where appropriate.
Manage all aspects of the roads design production process to ensure the overall design is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of the program’s strategic objectives.
Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to manage the design and its approval across the project stakeholders.
Assist the Senior Design Manager in the preparation of a detailed project plan, as part of the Project Management Plan, for the roads design phases of the program.
Manage the day-to-day ITS design monitoring activities and resources and actively participate in the design team meetings.
Ensure that all roads design related project KPIs, targets, directions, and instructions are communicated to all relevant project stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
Provide status reporting regarding ITS design milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating across leadership.
Coordinate between other disciplines.
Participate and/or drive feasibility studies, vendor selections, and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders.
Act as an internal quality control check for the ITS design documentation.
Ensure that designs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
