We design, manufacture, assemble and integrate components for gravity-release guided systems, missiles and loitering munitions. Accountabilities: The Design for Manufacturing Engineer participates in the design, development and production optimization processes, considering product design requirements, functionality, manufacturability, assembly and automation. Duties and Responsibilities:
Design mechanical systems to integrate mechanical modules with other electrical and electronic systems.
Design mechanical systems suitable for automated production of low-volume and high-volume requirements.
Work on the whole development life cycle from concept generation, to detail design, to prototype development, product validation and qualification, and Industrialization.
Perform FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis), tolerance analysis, gauge R&R, and GD&T analysis to ensure smooth industrialization, and smooth production ramp up and scalability.
Perform static and dynamic structural FEA (Finite Element Analysis). Preparing the geometry and the mesh, setting up the model and performing the analysis, and performing the post-processing using tools such as: ANSYS, Nastran/Patran, Abaqus, Simcenter.
Perform post-processing of the FEA data and create high-quality interpretations and analysis of the results.
Main Requirements:
Fresh Graduate holding a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
As an Ideal Candidate we expect you to have:
Knowledge and understanding of CAD software, such as Catia, Creo, and NX.
