Design & Estimation Engineer Manager

For one of our esteemed clients, we are currently looking for a Design & Estimation Engineer Manager.

Responsibilities will primarily include but are not limited to the following:

1. Team Leadership:
   Lead and mentor a team of designers, including architects, structural engineers, steel and aluminum detailers. Foster a creative and collaborative work environment, encouraging the team to generate fresh ideas and concepts.
2. Project Management:
   Plan, organize, and prioritize design projects to meet deadlines and budget constraints. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, projects, and production, to ensure the successful execution of design projects.
3. Design Strategy:
   Develop and implement design strategies that align with the company's branding and business goals. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors' design initiatives.
4. Concept Development:
   Work closely with designers to conceptualize and create design concepts, sketches, or prototypes. Review and approve design proposals and presentations.

1. 10+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer in a fabrication environment.
2. Bachelor of Science Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program.
3. Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, RAM Structural System, and Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Experience in Risa 2D, Risa 3D, SAP 2000.

1. 10+ years of experience in the structural analysis and design of structural projects preferred.
2. S.E. preferred but not required.
3. Experience in ETABS is preferred but not required.
4. 3 years of design experience.
5. Knowledge in fabrication and erection activities.
